Senior Recognition: Grant Stidham

The Cooper High School Track Team would like to recognize these seniors for all their hard work and dedication to their team and academics during their careers. Unfortunately, due to a global health crisis in our world today, all KHSAA athletic events have been cancelled for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year. Because we were not able to properly send-off our student-athletes, we hope that this small gesture of appreciation and recognition shows our love and gratitude for all of our student-athletes.

Who were your biggest supporters?

My parents, my fellow running-mates, and Coach V.

What are your plans for after graduation?

Attend Lehigh University in Pennsylvania to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I will miss everyone here.

Any words of advice you have for your teammates.

Keep in good shape. You’ve put in years of grueling training, and you shouldn’t let it go to waste. The awesome shape that some of you guys are in is something that people only dream of reaching, so we should all not take it for granted. Running also brings joy and relieves stress. It’s good for all of us.

THANK YOU GRANT
